dreambox set up questions

hi all im thinking about going the dream box route as the starview route is not working out,

so would a dream box conect to a standard sky dish or do i have to buy a special dish?
what is the best image to have on a dream box 500?

A Sky Dish will suffice in getting you pretty much all the same channels on cable if not more. My dreambox is running on the PLi Image, I dont know much about updating the firmware and such as the box came pre-programmed. Hope this post helped.

if you do get a dm500s try Commando 14.6 image.

if u are just wanting 28e ur sly dish outside will b fine if ur wanting other sats ie 13e 19e ect then u will need a bigger dish with motor or multi lnbs
