Do you need a sky aerial?

Here is some information so you understand how stupid your question was.

Aerial and Dish are not the same

If you have a dish and you look at it it has an arm that sticks out with a device on the end of it called LNB (you need a cable feed of the lnb to say your openbox so you will receive signal for picture) each openbox you have needs it's own feed from the lnb so no splitting of a cable can be done either.

Ok so only 1 per household. I was just typing fast and didn't know the actual word for those 2 wires that go in the back of the openbox. I know little about this stuff that you may seem "simple". There is no need to be a total dick about it. But thanks for explaining, now I know the answer to my question and gained a bit of knowledge of how it works, cheers!

When you say "...2 wires that go in the back of the openbox...", are you saying that you have 2 LNB cables connected to your box?

You should only have 1 connected to the LNB connector.

If your LNB has more than 1 port on it, then you can have another box in another room, provided that it has it's own feed to the LNB.

Yeah.. I have 2 LNB connectors. Both wires are attached to each other. So it wouldn't help since these are both in the same room and wouldn't streach to another room. And I'm not sure you can somehow extend them. It was also more of a question for a friend. He doesn't have a dish but would like this box. Is there any way round this for him?
