Do I need Android to solve this problem?

I’m trying to watch iptv on my 6yr old lg smart tv and my iPad Pro.
When watching films and series it often stops and starts at the beginning again sometimes a few minutes in or like last night after 30mins?
I have very good internet speeds.
I’ve been using Smarters & IBO players but both are the same.
It all works ok on my pc.
Tv is connected with Ethernet cable.
I’ve tried a vpn but that didn’t help.
Would it be better for me to buy an Android box?
Any help appreciated

Can you change the player for vod. Try VLC is you can

Maybe it’s your app outdated try uninstalling and reinstalling it again and tell your provider.

If it works fine on your pc then it's down to the device/app on your TV which is why you tend to see members recommends not using TV apps and instead use a dedicated device.

Tried reinstalling the app but it’s still the same.
Doesn’t happen all the time?

You don’t need a high end device just for iptv nor do you need high-speed Internet either.

Will most likely be player issue from the app you're using

I had ruled out being a player issue as I have tried a couple and both the same.
