connection from router and from wall box

Hi,

I have currently got virmin connected from the wall box into a zgemma h52tc via a splitter. I get the channels via a wireless dongle, as wired will be difficult (router on first floor) and its been working fine.
I have a new box on the first floor, and would like to connect to a new box. Can i just connect to the router via a splitter using the same method?
Any suggestions would be helpful.

You should be able to connect using the same method, splitter in front of the router so your VM feed will now supply the router and your new box.

Splitting it again might weaken your signal level,use a three way splitter 5-1000 tratec.

maybe a powered splitter may be in order here, if you had a twin tuner box you could just use client mode.
