Evening all. Been to a friends tonight to update his channels. No success. Tried the update by network ( showing the protocol page) couldn't get in. Then I tried update by USB firmware. Wouldn't recognise USB. Then tried another USB with the latest cwaites list, no luck again. Put the original usb in what he uses for the epg n that's spot on!! Where do I go next guys to update the box?

You need the firmware from Downloads [No81]---install with formatted [fat32] usb key, then go to upgrade by network and upgrade to latest firmware. Box will auto reboot, go back to network upgrade and get the latest channel list, box will auto reboot again and all should be ok.

Hi,
This is dementing me! I have had no sky channels for a week now. I have tried to update my channel list with ajsat and its not working. Is this the best place for the latest channel list for my sv8?

I think I am being thick here and I apologise.
When I go onto local network settings I only have the options – Network Setting, upgrade by network and Network App.
Network setting on shows me the 3 green lights for Ethernet WIFI or USB. (Which one is the best option?)
I cannot find Ccam settings.

Are you using ethernet cable or wifi dongle Adele ?
 
I am in manage CCcam.cfg now and the highlighted there is a red highlighted line ...... soz

example - 1 N:server ****- 4 numbers **** Login we green tic

Ok first of all edit the line you just posted to an example, not supposed to mention servers on the forum Lol

If you have a green tick, that suggests your line is active, but i`m not sure what the login means. i`m sure reaper will help you with that :) did you check your ethernet settings ?

I think where it says login, it should say online from memory. Can you get in touch with your provider ?

And your line says online and not login ? If that`s the case i would try unplugging your router and your box,, wait a minute then plug the router back in, wait for it to fully connect, then plug your box back in and boot it up.

There is 4 parts to a line...
1 server
2 Port (The 5 Numbers )
3 username
4 Password
