Channel List

I have tried the AJsat and cwaite channel lists and both scrambled the channels.
channels not in sky order, channels paired together, like 0006 Sky1, 0007 Sky+1, 0008 SkyLiving, 0009 Skyliving+1, 0016 Gold, 0017 Gold +1 etc etc;
I am also getting on a lot of channels, invalid program, search again.
How can I solve this.

What box do you have? PLus the skuy channels start at 101, so sky 1 is 106

Only CWAITE's list is in $ly order. AJ's list isn't.

Are you using the latest lists? Do any of your $ channels work, or are they all not working?

Are all FTA channels OK?

yea you need the CWAITE channel list for the sky channel numbers, should just set then when you install it. Make sure your line is working, sometimes it needs a restart on the box

Yes have installed CWAITE list but channels still go from 0001 etc.

Channel 1 on CWAITE's list should show the date that the channel list was issued. The rest of the channels up to 100 should be blank.

Are you sure that you are installing the list properly? Are you deleting the previous list first? After installing the new list, are you pressing the info button to see if the list was installed correctly? It should show OK.

But the sky channels start at 101 which is BBC1, 106 which is sky1 etc etc etc, the channels before that, 001 should be blank.

for the latest channel list? Also make sure all other lists have been uninstalled from your box as this may cause a conflict

How do you update the channel list on your box:

1. Ensure you have a USB Flash Drive that is formatted to FAT32 (most are preformatted to FAT32 when purchased)
2. Download the File tp_prog.dbs to your USB Flash Drive (DO NOT put the file tp_prog.dbs in a folder, put it in the root of the drive)
3. Remove your USB from the Computer
4. Plug into the Rear of the Skybox/Openbox/Libertview Box
5. Turn box on
6. Press Menu on Remote
7. Press Left/Right Arrow Keys Until you get to Tools section
8. Press Down Arrow Key to go to Upgrade By USB, then press OK
9. Press Right Arrow key to change Mode from Image Files (*.abs) to Misc Files
10. Press Down arrow to Select & Upgrade Then Press OK
11. Press Green Button on Remote
12. Press Yellow Button
13. When the update has finished Press the Info Button to check that it updated OK
14. Press Exit button several times slowly until you come out of Menu, The box should reboot itself. When its rebooted the channels should be updated.

A friend of mine tried to update the movies channel list but as he did this he somehow made a bit of a mess of things and now he only has the movie channels he has lost everything else . Could anyone please help me to solve this problem out for him and he can get his channels back please . Thanks

Updating the channel list should give you all the channels, not just Sports. Who's channel list did he use?

If he presses FAV on remote, does he get a list of favourites?
