C-Line Provider saying my ECM times high?

Hi

I've been having some issues with my Openbox, new the other day, I got a c-line but its just been Glitching/Scrambling etc...

The provider has said my ECM times are Very very high, and he thinks I have two boxes (I dont its just the one)

Any ideas why it could be like this? And how to sort it?

Try a test line from someone.
If its ok you know ur guy is full of it.
Not saying it is this. But its one of the easiest starting points.

Have you got a good signal on your box SNR 75% right corner when you press info. if your signal is low 30 to 40 the box will be scrambling more than normal and requesting unlock codes more often giving the the server more work that normal.

also make sure no other device connected to your modem is trashing your bandwidth..especially your upload when it comes to talking to the provider..
one quick way to eliminate this is to disconnect anything but your box to the modem..if that is not possible check any pcs, laptops mobile phns
for cookies, trojans these could all be trying to connect and transfer data in the background..

Ecms can be high from a few reasons

Net of course being slowing at night and makes you ping high

People downloading on your line while using box

What was he calling high?

And you said ecms are high is that as in requesting or times?
