Hi, I need help with a remote control issue with the BuzzTv U5 box x2 & the X5 box x1 when using tivimate, I don’t use the native buzz to app as
I find it a bit clunky & tivimate is easy to configure.
The issue that is driving me crazy is when I click on the buzztv remote search function on the bottom of the screen a pop up comes up with
A Remote icon & Use the keyboard on your mobile device.
& I can’t do anything ?
STEP 1 - The only way to temporarily resolve this for a short time is to come out of tivimate go to the buzztv Settings, Device Preferences, Keyboard, Manage Keyboards, turn off & back on Virtual Remote Keyboard, jump back into Tivimateand the search function works for a limited time.
It’s then like Groundhog Day over 3 boxes countless times, it is frustrating as F@#k.
I would prefer to keep the buzztv smart remote & not use a keyboard remote as that’s what I originally purchased these boxes for this particular remote.
I have reset the boxes several times contacted buzztv support forum but found them so unhelpful like it was my fault ? Might well be who knows but jeez just wanted some advice 😂
Anyway thought there might be someone on this fine forum that may well have come across a fix for this because I am stumped.
