Bitten off more than i can chew?

hi all. I have been hanging about the forum for a while but have only recently registered. I recently got my first non sly receiver with a view to have a crack at getting it set up my self. I have started with a mutant hd1500 running openatv which i am quite impressed with but I fear I may be out of my depth. I have managed to flash the image and have dreamplex, kodi direct etc. set up. apart from FTA my next step is to do about getting the rest of the channels sorted. I am a bit confused about lines and IPTV. do I need one or both and would my box be geared up better for a c or nline

any advice would be appreciated. i am taking baby steps right now in e2. a few friends have gone down the road of buying an out of the box set up with subs and I just thought it might be some fun having a go myself.

IPTV is completely different to the sat setup via c/s.
You will require a C or N line for you to clear premium channels and you can request one here on the forum in the general sat section "anyone recommend a good pay server" you'll meet many friends here
IPTV is more expensive and dependant on what you want out of it, a little reading and testing would be the best way forward as not all are very stable

I have just ditched sat for iptv as my sat box stopped working. as you have just bought a mutant box i would look at a sat line. iptv servers don't always work well on enigma 2 boxes

You may be better off flashing the Openvix image
