best box for recording ?

hi all , whats the best value box for recording ? i've got the skybox f5s but am after a box that can record channels that im not watching.

You are aware that you'll shortly lose all the HD channels aren't you?
The SD ones may or may not follow shortly afterwards, probably not too soon but who knows?
