ATV 6.1 a mess after software update

OK I have been using atv 6.1 on my boxes for a while, and I do software updates now and again, probably once or twice a week.

Yesterday I noticed I couldn't 'browse network' to the box from my pc. I checked samba on the box and I get an error saying feeds down for maintenance or something like that. So this morning I did a software update and boy I wish I hadn't.

Now, I still can't browse to the box, even though it shows in my network when I click on it I get an error. So I try to telnet to the box, and now I can't do that, both port 22 (ssh) or 23 (telnet) fail. OK check ftp and again that doesn't connect either, giving the error '
Connection attempt failed with "ECONNREFUSED - Connection refused by server".'

So, if your box is running 6.1 and putty/ftp works then dont update it.

Has anyone else noticed the same issue?

Edit: Should say this was on zgemma h2h but don't know if it's box specific

Done a reflash of latest nightly build from Sunday and its working, just got to rebuild my build lol

running openatv 6.1 on both boxes zgemma h.2h and miraclebox no problems here

Dont do software update then:)

yea if I had remembered to back them up lol. THought I had previous backup but looks like I had deleted it in error ffs

I did have, only problem I am not sure if my latest build for download had the issue, hadn't notice before yesterday, so just rebuilt it.

I only do the software updates so my build is upto date when people install it.

The system settings restore wouldn't have effected it

Just updated my H7 to the latest 6.1 and all appears to be working okay.
Can still access the box through the windows network.

My H2H works with latest nightly build dated Sunday, I think it's the software updates that killed the services. Not done software update on h7c as don't want hassle just yet:)

2s, h2s & H7c all running ATV6.1 & all updated fine
