Android box vs Zgemma h2.h

after owning the openbox v8s for only 5 months, I am now looking at my options as satellite channels are gone.
I have narrowed the choice down to either GTT Android box or Zgemma box. Can the gurus/users please comment on pros and cons of both these including the prices.

Enigma 2 - it's the operating system that a lot of boxes use like the zgemma etc.
 
it depends what u want out of a box, is it solely for iptv and apps then get a decent android box,i did.
 
I couldnt tell what the difference is between these systems. All i want is a box that will let me watch sky channels like v8s did before the channels went dark. And hoping that the next choice of box will atleast least for a year unlike v8s which is worthless now. So what should i get.
 
But is watching iptv thru v8s is exactly the same as watching as you would sat channels i.e is the user interface same ?
 
nope,and never will be.get a cable box if youre in a cable area?? make a request for a line in the appropriate
place and you will be back on track.

ps I'm running two iptv subs,one on a fire stick one on a v8 golden.the golden is 45 seconds behind.
the firestick is live.
 
buy a box that connects to virmin(cable tv) get a sub,and you will be back where you was before sat went tits up.
otherwise join the rest of us who cant get cable and get iptv??
 
Tommo38, Im in the same situation as taztheman.
Openbox is done, I have now moved house & have VM broadband. I also have an old Android (mxq?) box in a drawer somewhere.
To have as close as possible to the Openbox set-up, am I best having the Android updated or should I buy a VM style box? If so, what would be the best one (easiest to use) for a non-techy person? Dont care about apps etc, just want Sports, movie channels....Cheers
 
I am also a v8s owner now lost all sky sports, people i have been talking to are all saying zgemma box with iptv is the way to go. What i want to know is to save going out buying another box, can i not just wipe somehow the v8s and put iptv on it. I already have a very reliable provider for sub. Any answers appreciated
 
Can anyone tell me if IPTV is any better than an Android box . I've given up my v8s as only FTA is on it but unsure if buying a new Mag. or zgemma +sub will improve my viewing

U can put iptv on the v8s but dont run brilliantly, i think a zgemma box is the way to go this is what i am getting myself, long as u get a good sub
