Alt providers to Virgin

Hi, sorry for jumping in on an old thread. Can I ask those who have left VM how easy was it to set up with a new provider? I really am fed up with VM pricing and they want to double my sub now my contract is coming to an end. Any recommendations? just need a decent BB, no gaming but a fair amount of Facetime and IPTV

I see your reading the other VM thread, but yeah , check who else can provide you , it's straight forward with the one touch switch system now

VM are the only show in town for me if I want anything over 100Mb connection. The best they would offer was matching my current deal. I left it a couple of weeks and when I called back they reduced this by £10. Next time I renew I'm going to wait until a week before the contract expires before calling them to see what they offer me.

Very straightforward, depends who you go for. I went for an altnet who sent an installer to bring the fibre into my property which was done in an hour with a new provider router.
