ABM giving me the weaker signalled channels?....

Having an annoying problem with my zgemma 11s running the latest openvix. After running a full scan the channels are placed into the bouquets but if there's a choice of two channels the same it puts the weaker signalled channel in the bouquet leaving the stronger channel in last scanned. I've tried deleting the weaker signalled channels from last scanned list and manually installed the stronger channel but it always reverts back after the EPG updates.
These channels are HGTV, QUEST RED, QUEST HD, REALLY, FOOD NETWORK.

ABM selects the channel the broadcaster determines is the one for your region. If you want a different one, use a different region. I think there is a way to add a different channel using a custom mix file. I'll post it if I can find it.

You should really tweak your dish if you can. The two transponders are:
12382 MHz, Horizontal , 29500, 2/3
11038 MHz, Vertical, 23000, 2/3

Why are you looking in the last scanned bouquet? If you are using that bouquet to copy from, you can perform a manual scan of the stronger TP and only those are listed. However, if you had enabled the not indexed option, it would have got all of them (if there are more than 1)

If you are making your own bouquets, best not to use ABM to create/modify bouquets. Set all the "create" options to no.

Thanks for your reply. I think I'll look at the dish alignment, LNB and cable first as it's been ok until recently.

Hey, that sounds frustrating! Have you tried setting your region manually in the tuner settings? It should help prioritize the stronger signal channels. Also, you could disable auto-updates for the bouquets to stop the weaker channels from sneaking back in. Another option is to create a custom bouquet after deleting the weaker ones that way, they won’t get overwritten during updates. Hope this helps
