10 years in and still a Newbie

I was just wondering if I'm the longest standing Newbie on here, 10 years of membership and still classed as a Newbie lol, I usually just come on and read up on lots of stuff, rather than ask lots of daft questions and then be ridiculed for it, any Newbies on longer than me?

2 years junior to yourself Paul, but like you I use this site more as a resource tool, and it's hard to contribute when a lot of the stuff goes over my head!

It’s sometimes quicker to just ask questions than trying to search for the answer.
The Internet is a minefield of misinformation.
Nobody should be ridiculed for asking a question either.
If you don’t know, you don’t know.

Yeah, you’ve been great when Ive asked questions mate, much appreciated, sometimes though you get users that tell you just to “read the thread etc” as the questions “been asked several times before”, so sometimes it puts you off asking straight away. Techkings has been a wonderful source of information, I’ve been here since card sharing days and its been invaluable over the last 10 years it really has.

What is the point of knowing something and not sharing it.
The search function can help but not always and some threads are pages and pages of posts on forums.

It will be 10 years for me in April 2025. Still a newbie & proud 😂

Joined Nov 2013 and just noticed still listed as a newbie. However haven't logged in for 2 years. Maybe it the lack of activity
 
scary when you look back 9 years , i had to get my post count up to member as i seem to recall i wanted to either download? or message someone or it may have been lack of activity for a year or two ? been that long cant remember, but i still use boxes for my IPTV so this is a great source of info.

there is a difference you may know answer and rather than having to repeat it for the umpteenth time you may just point member to the answer, especially if not just a simple answer.

Haha, 10 years as a Newbie? You’re basically the Newbie Hall of Fame Inductee! 🏅 Don't worry, you've mastered the art of silent lurking—some might even call you a stealth pro. Maybe we need a new title: "Seasoned Newbie Extraordinaire." 😄 Anyone else been lurking long enough to challenge this legend?
 
Same as me. There is so much information on here I never need to post. I find it to be invaluable.
