Tbf to SKY if you run a TV service, you would do the same to protect your companies revenue.
 
I doubt there is anything on the new routers as the forum hasn't 'blown up' on this subject(?) with a million posts on/about it.

Was also previously asked with nothing concrete and a number of TikTok users reporting no issues with disabling sky sheild...................

If they offer you a “free router upgrade,” refuse it immediately. These new routers are completely locked down, meaning you CANNOT disable Sky Shield. That gives them full control over what you can and can’t access online. Some services that block VPNs will make it even harder to bypass their restrictions....
