very strange one happened today...
been looking to move from my existing iptv provider as comms when they have issues is very very poor..

got a trial yesterday and worked fine.. today doesn't work
another trial from different provider.. same doesn't work...
existing provider i'm moving from... works fine

all being used on a android phone on home wireless.. if i go 4G works fine.. and if i go VPN works fine.
Seems liketo me my ISP Virgin have blocked does that sound reasonable?

They won't be blocking now, or highly unlikely, it's far more likely that you have left the net nanny settings on.
Log into your account with VM and turn off the safe settings, these will prevent streaming in most cases

Normally trials only last 24 hours. So probably nothing wrong trial expired.

I have had intermittent blocks on VM.
VPN sorts in when it happens.

People who hardly watch tv and only use it for watching live sports events have no problems with their subs, and people who watch tv a lot get isp blocks regularly in my opinion during live events.

Which category do you fall into?
I am the former but have had intermittent blocks.

I would say this year the blocks have been more substantial

Always good to have a backup service.

Alot of sly and VM customers have had nanny settings turned back on without them knowing.

I have been with VM for nearly five years and never had it turned back on.
In fact, I don’t even remember if I ever had to disable it.

Remind me guys how to check these web nanny settings, Super hub is in modem mode, with Asus router. I'm sure they are off

Ai protection Parental Controls - Web & Apps Filters was ON on the Asus but only blocking Adult content on a device.

Remind me how do I log into them VM hub, 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.0. Doesn't get me in. Do I have to reset the hub

I think the nanny settings are controlled from your online account. i.e Login to your Virgin Media account online and look at account or settings.

I’ve been with VM for 8 years and it was not enabled by default and I’ve never had to disable it

Log into your VM account online go to account settings and then online security.
You will see virus protection and parental control.

I don’t watch tv much just use it for watching events and that’s it really but I have heard people who watch tv a lot get more blocks by isp.

Not heard that but it’s a difficult thing to assess because you have many ISP providers in the UK and lots of IPTV providers.
Which country are you talking about?

Typically with these blocks that happen when premier league starts are people on sly,VM and BT group.

This is something I've observed anyway.
