For some time i have noticed my ET 8000 has 0 minutes recorded on my this box.

For backup i have also got the same programs recorded in full on my ET 10000.

Vera was the name in question and had missed the previous program with not recorded?

Third image shows 0 minutes for Vera.

Right I have got the boot loader files , do i copy the et8500 multi folder to the usb and let it flash

I currently have Willobuild in partition 1 ,
I want to add openatv usb method can this be put on partition 2 or will it fail. In which order should I do it.

Losing recordings

In my kitchen i use client mode from the 8000 and can view recordings on every box from there.
Going into the sitting room to continue with the same program i cannot find that section. Note sizes of hdd?

So the question is how to get back on the path of Movie as trying to get it on my H7S.
These are on the same box but seems a different path was made .
Samba and Nfs both running.

Red light on front panel

6.4.02 image on my box and not used for a while but Vu Zero is using it in Client mode.

Earlier tonight i noticed red light on front panel and thinking it was recording something but no timers or autotimers seen ?

I do have internal and externally powered 1 tb drives and both ext4.

Is there anything else that could put red light one i am not aware of.

Not an issues but more of why and what.

Client mode error

Putting my 8000 back into service but unable to get client mode to accept its IP from it to use on the Vu Zero.

My Gigablue Quad was there and used it with client mode on zero.

I have double checked IP is working on the ET as downloaded plugins NFS and Samba and both running.
Forgot i had to set logs and password and both done now
Entered box IP and Webif goes straight in
Network scan -Expert mode and enter box ip but fails drop down to mount it.

Power issue on tm2600 motor

Hi,

Put my 1m dish and motor back up
After connecting cables I don't get green power on the motor, if I connect my VU duo I get power,
Any ideas what it can be , I had to re do the f connection.

Could it be the cabling

Dual Boot Et8500

I have dug out my old ET8500 however it is dual boot. I cant for the life of me get it to flash. i seem to remember that i had to do something with the power button.

can anyone remember how to flash this?

Hi, im sure ive asked this before somewhere but cant find it...

After flashing the latest openvix to my Xtrend ET10000 Virgin is back in the providers section and hogging the ALL list with blanks...

Where can i find the VM files in Filezilla?

Ive had a look round but cant see them or the sky or fresat ones...

xtrend 10000 issue

Having issues on a 5.4.14 openvix image and not sure if might also have a failing hdd.

I access recordings from that box on other boxes but notice my control of play is not right as it may stop or when adds come on 3-6-9 does not fast forward but the arrows give me some control.
Even access into box in that room locked it up also so know its not network related.
Logs are active but show 0.

I know i have to reflash and start from scratch as box has other issues including cam stopping and...

Xtrend 8500 complete factory reset?

Over the years I've loaded various images, fiddled with files via FTP, installed plugins etc. The box now randomly freezes and restarts itself.

I understand you have to flash an original image to completely reset the image and all the files. Am I correct in that I need to just download the latest image from here (Xtrend ET-8500) and flash the box to do this? Then I can go ahead and install Willobuild?

Hi all I'm having an issue on my xtrend et10000 when I'm in iptv section the box will crash hangs on the spinner untill I revert from the mains, I have latest xtreme editor installed and it works fine other than the crashing is there any work around, im using the latest open vix image but can change that if needed any advice would be great

I have an extrend et10000 box with openvix on it...

Been having massive problems with my broadband which they traced to a short in the street..

However I now have a problem caused by the box...

I have to keep flashing with the newest build but it only lasts about 3 weeks before my internet starts dropping out causing all our devices to stop working including the TV and iptv..

If I do a speedtest the download stays steady at 112mbs but the upload is strangled and drops out.. if I unplug...

Et8500 no picture

Hi all got home today and nothing on the tv, the box is working but seems there must be a problem with the hdmi port as nothing coming through to the tv. Tried another box and works fine so not the cable.
Rebooted it all goes through all the motions on the display screen and changes channel and everything it should do just not transferring it to the tv. Any fix for this fellas.

Hi all, I've been going through various pages on here trying to work out if this is plausible? I currently run wooshbuild on My zgemma h2s which tbh I am extremely happy with and wanted to set up My farther-inlaw's but he is running an xtrend et 9200 or et9500 I believe? I have found woosh for et8500 but not anything else so what I'm asking is it possible to flash it with this software or is it not going to be compatible???

Wanted to get woosh to run on my xtrend that has been running vix. I downloaded openatv 6.2 but it remained stuck on flashing. Strangely there was no 6.1 available for the et8000.

I tried 6.0 which has worked and woosh running fine but can’t understand why 6.2 doesn’t work. The et8000 is still a quality box

Problem with volume

A friend of mine as an et8500 and as an annoying problem
On the remote the volume is always set to 100 and they use the tv remote to increase the volume if needed.
I keep getting a call saying they cant hear the tv despite the box remote and the tv remote being set to the max at 100.
When it first did it I reflashed the box thinking it was a setting that had messed up but that made no change to the volume at all.
