(Basic) I’ve upgraded the memory and now he wanted a new graphics. I Will list his spec at the end. I bought a GTX1060 6G. His pc didn’t have a pic graphics card just internal. I’ve made sure it’s plugged in correctly and the 8pin power lead is connected. The 2 fans are spinning round when pc is powered up but it’s not picking it up. When I plug the hdmi lead into the graphics card I just get a blank screen.

I have some well known brands and installed the update file on them and when I tried them on the car, the car did not see them. The only one i could get to be seen by the car was an old generic usb stick, but unfortunately it's only 2gb and not big enough to hold the update.

Anyway, I took his 500gb HDD out of the VU and tried connecting it to his zgemma box via USB to Sata cable, with separate AC connector to power the drive. However, the box didn't seem to read it so I tried plugging it into his computer and that didn't seem to recognise it either, and I can't hear it spinning up or anything either, however it does work fine in the VU Duo box.

If you would be so kind i require some advice. I am having a problem with my desktop at the minute and it's driving me to the crazy.

It does one of two things. Either randomly reboots or randomly 'sleeps'. At least I think it's sleeping as the monitor loses signal but the tower remains on (LED's still on, fans still running etc) but it will not wake up again. I have to turn it off and back on again to get it to work.

We recently had an issue with the electrics in the house where the builders kept shorting out a cable in the loft that they didn't realise was there. It is all sorted now however my PC seems to have issues from the sockets keep tripping out.

I've just bought and installed 3 x Crucial Ballistix 4gb Sport DDR3 - 1600Mhz (PC3 - 12800) 1.5v with no problem on my Alienware Aurora (Late 2009) PC that has 6 slots. The original RAM I had were 3 x Corsair Dominator 2gb DDR3 - 1600Mhz (PC3 - 12800) 1.6v

It would be good if I could use all 6 RAM modules but I don't fancy messing up my system in the process.
